Ebay and Paypal Monsters
Recently I tried to sell some stuff on Ebay, which I had done in the past with moderate successs. They changed their rules and made us accept paypal or we couldn’t list. My Bf, who owns the Ebay account, had previously set up a paypal account. It was years ago and his email, phone and address have changed. In addition, his credit card used to set up the account is no longer active. We tried to set up a new account or have them consolidated. Paypal will not let us access the account to claim any of the money being deposited. So, it is being returned to customers after I sent the item out in the mail. Now I’m out the item, the postage and the fees from ebay and paypal. I’m so frustrated that I stopped selling there alltogether. Now I have to clean up this mess. I have been emailing, phoning, and using online help for over a month with no success. I’m going to keep trying, but I’m getting impatient.
